A widow, Ruth (Little Puck), and her stepson Calvin (Parker Ambrose) arrive home, with Ruth looking very upset. It is revealed that Ruth’s wealthy parent recently passed away, and Ruth and Calvin have just returned from the reading of his will. Since the parent was obsessed with his genetic legacy being continued, Ruth’s two siblings will be receiving their share of the inheritance immediately because they both have biological offspring… but since Ruth ‘only’ has a stepson, she can’t have her share until she gives birth to her own little one. And if Ruth doesn’t do that in three years, her siblings get EVERYTHING.
Ruth is furious that her beloved stepson isn’t being treated as a real part of the family, but Calvin tries to calm her down, saying they don’t need the inheritance as long as they have each other. However, Ruth insists that she won’t accept this insult to her and Calvin. With that, she comes up with a twisted idea to get back at her late parent – if Calvin were to impregnate her, she’d get the inheritance AND Calvin’s genes would officially be part of the family…
